Love Machine is a swiss collective which aims to address the gender gap on Wikipedia.

In the past, Love Machine has organised a Workshop at the festival La Fête du Slip in Lausanne (see the Project page (in french)). This event was part of the Art+Feminism campaign 2017.

On Sunday 25th June 2017, Love Machine is going to held a multilingual edit-a-thon during the International Belluard Bollwerk Festival in Fribourg (see the programm of the festival)

Love Machine is a collaboration between a group of volunteers and Wikimedia CH.

The Project modifier

Edit-a-thon is a contraction between the words "edition" and "marathon". It designates events during which people learn how to edit and improve specific topics on online platforms such as Wikipedia. In this context, Love Machine intends to adress the Gender bias on Wikipedia.
