DescriptionSciurus vulgaris at Alverstone Mead Nature Reserve.jpg
Seen at the Alverstone Mead Nature Reserve.
Today, I was over-run by fast-moving 'Orange' red squirrels. This gave me a problem, since I believed that there were only two, both female. However, today, I saw four at one time, including one male.
I have another problem in that the only photograph where I could identify the squirrel as male was slightly out of focus (so will not be up-loaded). I then realised that I had seen this squirrel in April 2012, as a juvenile, and classified him as 'Brown'. He is now re-classified as 'Orange No.5'.
That said, I don't know whether this is him. The head profile looks correct, but the 'proof' is just hidden by the tree stump!
